Program Accepts 30 Students Per Year

Cohorts begin program: January each year (first class begins 2001) and continue through 6 semesters

Application procedure:

Submit a completed Application for Admission to Graduate Studies and application packet for MPT

Complete a GRE for those applicants with an overall GPA < 3.0. Applicants must score in the 50^th percentile on GRE (**NOTE: Class applying for admission in 2002 will need to take the GRE writing test regardless of GPA – this will replace the essay done at CSU)

Minimum of a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university in any subject area

Minimum of a 2.80 overall GPA, and a minimum GPA of 2.80 in prerequisite work. All prerequisite’s must be competed with a "C" or better

Prerequisite courses:

Chemistry	2 course sequence with lab
General Physics	2 course sequence with lab
Biology	General Biology with lab Vertebrate, Human or Mammalian Physiology (junior/senior level)
Psychology	2 courses
Statistics	1 course
Medical Terminology	1 course
Health Sciences – need to be university/college based (not community college level)	Human Gross anatomy (1 course) – with cadaver Neuroscience General Pathology – 1 course

Tuition and Fees

For the 2002-2003 Academic Year, graduate tuition is expected to be 3419 for in-state students and $6764 for out-of-state students.
Program fees are estimated to be $500 per year
Books are estimated to be $500 per semester
Student assistance in the form of loans, grants, and work-study is available
A limited number of graduate assistantships are also available
