Philanthropy

The Alpha Phi Foundation

The Alpha Phi Foundation was founded in 1956.  It is one of the oldest Greek foundations for women with a focus on supporting women’s cardiac health.  Heart disease is the #1 killer of women in North America.  In 1946, the Fraternity officially adopted the cause and Alpha Phi’s internationally have been helping.  In addition, the Foundation assists members in need, funds programs that provide leadership and educational opportunities, and educates women about philanthropy. This past academic year, our chapter of Alpha Phi has raised over $1,700 for our philanthropy.
