Philanthropy
" To welcome the opportunity of contributing to the world's work in the community where I am placed
because of the joy of service thereby bestowed and the talent of leadership multiplied."

Members of Alpha Gamma Delta embrace their responsibility to the community. Our philanthropy, the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation, donates money to the American Diabetes Association and the Juvenile Diabetes Fund. In order to raise money for these worthy causes, the women of Alpha Iota sponsors the “Mr. B-W Pageant.” This annual event brings together the most dedicated men on campus in an evening of lighthearted competition.

The Gams also volunteer their help throughout the community in events like the Walk for Kids at the Cleveland Zoo and Water Stop for the Cleveland Metroparks River Run for the Cleveland Clinic. Whether it is making sandwiches for   a nearby food kitchen or donating money to buy children Christmas presents, Alpha Gamma Delta is proud to lend a helping hand on B-W’s campus and in the community. As individuals or as a chapter, the Gams give of themselves to improve the lives of others.
