The following translations are the works of Dr. Susan Oldrieve
Dr. Oldrieve received her AB from Princeton University in 1973, her MA from the
University of Virginia in 1975 and her Ph.D from the University of Virginia in 1981.
Her areas of research span Anglo-Saxon, Medieval and Early Modern literature to
1616. She has taught at Baldwin-Wallace College since 1986, covering courses from
Celtic Myths and Legends through Acting Shakespeare. The material from this website
is produced in conjunction with her upper level undergraduate course, Translating
Anglo-Saxon Literature.
