3. Head on over to the London-Ferry Across the Mersey Exhibit

· What year did the Beatles first appear on the Ed Sullivan Show?

· What fashion or personal appearance statement did the Beatles bring to the U.S. with them?

· What was the Beatles’ first American single? When was it released?

· What year did the Rolling Stones begin their first U.S. tour?

 

4. Are You Experienced? Then make your way to the Jimi Hendrix Exhibit.

· Find the handwritten lyrics to “House Burning Down.” In the second verse, Hendrix crossed out the word “sound.” What word did he use instead?

· Why do you think he made that change?
