My responsibilities included: Troubleshooting student/staff computer problems, assigning incoming calls to other SRCC's. I was assigned new calls daily from students who would call to a computer help desk. I would then call a student, make an appointment to go out to their residence on the campus, and fix their computer problems. This could be actual hardware install, software install, network setup, operating system install, software help, and many more computer related tasks. I was also eventually able to assign incoming technical calls to my fellow SRCC's, as a supervisory position. Over the summer of 2000, I helped produce a training session for the new SRCC’s for the upcoming academic year. I have also helped some staff in setting up new computer labs on campus, such as a Digital Resource Lab, that uses digital video editing hardware and software. Also I have done some work creating hard drive images for student computer systems. The original SRCC website for the University of Dayton was also a project that I created.

Incoming first-year students were to have the computers they purchased from the university installed in their dorm rooms. This job entailed connecting all hardware, turning the system on, and configuring the system to connect to the university's local area network. During the second year of the installs, I was in a supervisor position in which I had to make sure that the correct computer was given to the correct student in their assigned room. Plus I was given master keys for the rooms to make sure doors were locked with computers in them, as well as a few other minor responsibilities.
