Interactive Demonstrations for Musical
Acoustics

Goals
The goal of this project is to create a self-guided tour of typical
demonstrations of musical acoustics. Most of the demonstrations
are auditory, and are intended to be used along with spectrum analyzer
software as a means of visualizing the sounds. Many of the sounds
have been synthesized, using a freeware program called Csound
(www.csounds.com), and the corresponding Csound script files are
provided, so that users may adapt these demonstrations for their own
uses. Production support is also provided by the Musical
Acoustics Technical Committee of the Acoustical Society of America.
