iPod Volume Control

The Project and Outline Results References

This project is about the acoustics of the iPod and its sound production. I will analyze the sound production made by iPods players and the potential dangers they can have to the human ear. I have created a simulation of the ear canal where I can discover whether or not certain iPod volume settings are more damaging than others. With this project, I hope to emphasize the potential dangers of limited volume control with iPods and show not only the effects of the present, but the potential effects as time progresses.
