MiniMoog Synthesizer

MiniMoog Synthesizer The Experiment References

Ever since its release in 1970, the MiniMoog synthesizer has changed the face of music in all genres from rock, jazz, funk, pop and R&B. Invented by Bob Moog, this instrument was constructed to allow musicians to have full control of their sound. It provides the ability to shape all aspects of sound with its various filters, oscillators, envelopes and waveform modulation controls. The MiniMoog was created to satisfy an increasing demand for electronic instruments in modern music in the early 1970's. The original Moog synthesizer was too large and expensive for artists to even consider purchasing this synthesizer, let alone take it on the road. It was up to Bob Moog and his team to create a compact and affordable synthesizer modeled after the original. The MiniMoog has been praised by its users for its powerful bass and lead sounds. This synthesizer is a monophonic analog keyboard, meaning that it can only play one key at a time and uses analog circuits and analog computer techniques to generate sound with the use of provided oscillators. The MiniMoog contains 3 seperate oscillators which enables the artist to construct triads of any sort.
