In order to change key signatures you must go to the MAIN ENTRY PALETTE and click on the KEY SIGNATURE TOOL.

Then click on the measure in which you want to change the key signature. A dialog box will pop up that contains the following options. Be sure to check the appropriate MEASURE REGION. In this case we want the new key signature to begin in measure 1 and last for the entire piece. Therefore, we click the radio button that reads "Measure 1 Through End of Piece." (Notice that the measure 1 box for "Measure 1 through 1" is purple and is therefore highlighted. You can highlight (activate) the Measure 1 box under "Measure 1 Through End of Piece" by clicking in it and then typing in whatever measure you want.

To change the key signature use the scroll bar to move to sharp keys (up) or flat keys (down). Be sure to indicate whether the key as major or minor. In our case we will change the key from the default key of C major to the key of Eb major.

When you have made all of the changes you need click OK.

As you can see below the key signature has been changed to Eb major for the entire composition.
