Text: Reread pages 198-202 then read pages 202-208.

Always bring textbook to class.

 Written Homework: 1.  Create your own 12-tone row.
2.  Create a 12 X 12 Matrix of your set.
Turn 1 and 2 in for a grade.

  Analysis Homework: Using the matrices you created for the Krenek, Schoenberg and Webern pieces try to isolate row usage.
For the Krenek use mm 1-8.
For the Schoenberg use mm1-4/1.
For the Webern use mm 1-4.  Consider both voice and piano.

 
 Keyboard Homework:

 

None.

Project Timetable:  With the above Written assignment you have begun work on part of your final project for the class.
