| Week 3 |
Date:January 23, 2006 |
It is important to be aware that many assignments will be given in class that are not in your textbook. When this happens the assignment given below will read "As given in class on ..." In order to avoid confusion the actual assignment will be listed after the class moves into the next week (e.g., actual assignments for week one will be completely posted once we get into week two). While this may seem confusing it provides your instructor with important flexibility. Individual classes tend to move at different rates of speed and by giving assignments in this manner it is possible to avoid the confusion of listing an assignment on the Web and having to change it in class.
