MY ARRANGING PROJECTS

I am currently working on a CD to be titled ANCIENT VOICES FROM OHIO that will contain performances of my arrangements for various instruments including the Native American Flute.

Arranged music (2001-2002) for a Cabaret performed at Archie's in New York City and The Tangiers in Akron by Tonya Walker-Davidson.

Special arrangement of "The Star-Spangled Banner" for a performance at the Cleveland Indians baseball game for September 15, 1999. The arrangement was performed by four B-W students in the Music Theatre Program. An alternate version of this arrangement was also performed at a Cleveland Indians baseball game in June, 2000 by the cast of "Damn Yankees."

Between the years 1992-1996 I presented a series of recitals under the title "Encounters With Jazz and Popular Vocal Styles." For these recitals I wrote arrangements in many different arranging styles and techniques and combinations of voice and instruments.

In 1997-98 I completed an extensive arranging project entitled "Brother, Can You Spare A Dime?" This was a musical review developed by Bill Rudman. His intent was to show how Broadway show music throughout this century has demonstrated a sense of social consciousness. This show was one of two finalists in the Jazz and Popular Music category of the 18th Annual Achievement Awards given by Northern Ohio Live.

I continue to do selected commercial arranging projects as time permits.
