WHAT I DO
Baldwin-Wallace College
- Professor of Music Theory
- Teach various courses in the areas of music theory and electronic music
- I have designed and currently teach courses in harmony and solfege directly relating to the needs of Music Theatre and Music Therapy majors.
- Chair of the Department of Music Theory, Composition, and History & Literature (Retired as Chair, August 2002)
Cleveland Theatrical Scene
- I regularly work as a music director for local professional theatrical productions.
- My most recent endeavor was the production of
- "Grease" at the Evans Theatre in Cain Park, Cleveland Heights, Ohio.
Professional Composer and Arranger
- CoPresident of Hartzell Media Group, Berea, Ohio.
- Arranged music for a Cabaret performed in New York City and Akron by Tonya Walker-Davidson.
- Published Music Book and CD of Rounds for Native American Flute.
- I am currently working on an album to be titled ANCIENT VOICES FROM OHIO that will contain performances of my arrangements and original compositions for various instruments including the Native American Flute.
- Many of my arrangements have been heard on television and radio shows of various types.
