There are many ear plugs in the market that claim to be the very best at protecting the ears of many people, BUT how do we know this is not just a gimmick? In my experiment, I will test various types of ear plugs in different types of decibel levels in order to find out which ear plug is more effective in various sound levels. I will construct a model ear to portray the sounds entering the ear canal and test each of the ear plugs. Many people are exposed to dangerous sound levels whether at work or at a concert. In order to protect their hearing, people will need the best ear plugs to decrease the chances of hearing loss.
