I grew up in the wonderful state of Ohio where my family is in the funeral business. I hope to one day be a part-time enbalmer, if I can find the time to get the license. When I'm not teaching, programming, or writing papers, I'm usually found at home spending time with my beautiful wife, Barbara, my adorable son James, and my charismatic dog, Major.
I played football for 8 years. In high-school, we were state champs. Speaking of football, I'm a major browns fan. I also enjoy spending time with the rest of my family. If you have ever seen me doing research and wonder if I'm always that serious, look here. If you want the back story, you'll have to approach me (gasp!) while I'm doing research. Don't worry, I’m not as grumpy as I appear!

Here is a really simple android application I've been working on for keeping track of time intervals: TimeTracker.apk
