The concert included performances of Bach cantatas no. 19 (Es erhub sich ein Streit), 146 (Wir müssen durch viel Trübsal), and 180 (Schmücke dich, o liebe Seele), the motet, 'Komm, Jesu, komm' (BWV 229), the Magnificat, BWV 243, and part 4 of the Weihnachtsoratorium. Performers included T. Edgar Shields (organist), Gretchen Newhart Iobst (pianist), Ruth Diehl (soprano), Saida Knox (contralto), Hardesty Johnson (tenor), and Mack Harrell (baritone).
