Bach Bibliography Q & A |
A. I thought of it before. But then I realised that it was not what we wanted. New books and articles appear ever so frequently; as soon as the bibliography is in print, it is already out of date! So the internet publication is the only viable alternative, though it means I get no money :-(
Instead of getting rich, we all hopefully get the following benefits:
A. The network traffic may be a problem, especially if you live far away from UK. Here are some tips:
A. It's a good of you to think about that. You will certainly benefit from:
A. I run it for a month or so (for trial basis), but discontinued it, as it was one way traffic (from me to you). Instead, I set up "New Publications" page where you can visit whenever you want to find out the latest information. Please also visit "Recent Update" page where you will find the latest addition of old but significant items, as I spend a few days from time to time, checking neglected yet important journals published before 1950.
A. If you notice the symbols with diacritical marks displayed incorrectly, check your browser's character code setting. For West European languages, you need to set your browser to "Latin 1" or "ISO-8859-1". If you are viewing the item in one of East European languages, please set your browser to Latin 2 (also known as Central-European, "ISO-8859-2"). Under some systems, you need appropriate fonts in your system to display the characters correctly.
Q. Why can't I access to the text of the articles listed by your search?
A. Bibliography simply describes about the books or articles (e.g. its author, title, publisher, year of publication) and not the books or articles themselves. If you want to read them, please contact your university library. I provide neither copying or lending service.
